Join us on Wednesday, August 19th as Senator Kamala Harris accepts the Democratic nomination to serve as the next Vice President of the United States. Our Chagrin Gateway Democrats Virtual Reception Zoom Room will open at 7pm as we welcome candidates for office on the ballot this fall, and share an evening of speeches and celebration. Bring your wine, beer, chips and guacamole, sit down in front of the webcam and hang out! Feel free to stick around all night or bounce in and out as the list of speakers includes President Barack Obama, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Secretary Hillary Clinton, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and of course, the next Vice President, Kamala Harris. You are not expected to stay the whole night! Please feel free to mingle in and out as you’d like.
